Our fun and exciting breakfast clubs give the opportunity for the children to have a great start to the day. A range of physically active games and activities run by qualified multi sport coaches.
These ensure that the children are more physically active and the Lunch Clubs can range in scope from those for ‘Gifted & Talented’ pupils to those for children who may require alternatives to help them fully engage with physical education and sport in your school.
Lunchtimes give you an opportunity to instigate a PlayMakers Programme – an initiative by Sports Leaders UK – which develops leadership skills in your Year 5 and 6 children by training them up and getting them to organise activities for other children. This programme will increase the amount of physical activity undertaken during playtime, improve behaviour and help raise the self-esteem and self-confidence of the leaders.
Young Leaders Award
Another initiative by Sports Leaders UK, the Young Leader Award is a great introduction to leadership, giving pupils and students that are 11 years plus knowledge of how to organise and lead small games and activities.
It aims to help learners develop leadership skills such as organisation, communication and teamwork, as well as helping them to build confidence and self-esteem as they take on responsibility for leading their peers and younger children.
